OUR PARISH COMMUNITY

The Parish Roll
explained.

The Parish Roll helps St Margaret's look after its church community. It links membership, communication, family connections, ministry involvement and stewardship for authorised church administration—not public browsing.

Membership guidance

How can we help you connect?

An authorised parish official can explain how to join. This public page does not collect membership details.

How registration works

1Start with an enquiryAsk how to join, update details or participate in a ministry.
2Use the approved private processReceive instructions or a secure form when operational and authorised.
3Authorised staff maintain recordsParish Roll details remain in restricted church systems, not on this website.

Your information stays private

Can people see the Parish Roll online?

No. Individual members' contact, household, ministry and pledge records are not publicly searchable.

Can I update my information on this page?

Not directly. The parish will guide you to an approved private process; the public website does not store submissions.

Understanding our records

Connected in parish life.
Protected in administration.

These are different kinds of information that help the parish welcome people, communicate appropriately and support its ministries. Their personal details belong in controlled church records rather than on a public website.

Parish Roll

A record of people connected to the parish, maintained by authorised church officers. It helps with membership administration and pastoral communication.

Member contact details

Current contact information allows authorised church representatives to communicate important notices, subject to appropriate use and permissions.

Household relationships

The parish may associate members of a household for relevant administration while recognising that each person remains an individual.

Ministry registers

People may take part in ministries such as Sunday School, choir, welcoming and other church activities. Participation records help authorised leaders coordinate those roles.

Pledge commitments

A parishioner's voluntary commitment to support the church financially. It remains confidential and is recorded separately from actual payments.

Keeping information accurate

Authorised officers can manage updates, correct mistakes and preserve records appropriately. Personal information is not made available through a public directory.

How they fit together

One parishioner.
Different connections.

A member might belong to a household, volunteer in a ministry and choose to make a pledge. The parish's private administrative systems can connect these records where authorised, while keeping membership and finance responsibilities distinct.

The website shares information about the services—it does not access those linked records. The SharePoint Parish Roll project remains responsible for its own data, permissions and any approved integrations.
